Again, they want you to keep being angry and upset, that's what makes you keep coming back.>It also creates a feedback loop, that content attracts more people who watch it and in turn push the creator to do more of that content and suggest more of that content to react to. It takes a lot for them to say no to that audience or to prefer lower views doing normal content. And whenever a streamer gets caught up in the sauce and blurs out a really hot take that gets pushback from everyone else for being too far, they'd either instantly back down, grovel, promise to do better, but that 1 statement just becomes a signal for even more "tourists" from that group to join their audience to replace anyone that left, so when the culture changes, and the same statements come up again, the streamer is more celebrated and the "tourists" that came in from the 1st take would bully any further pushback from actual loyal fans, essentially ''grooming" the "free-thinking" streamer into no difference from a chud/breadtuber, cynical or not.
I've seen so many tubers, v or not, that had fans across the spectrum, constantly devolved into ''chambers'' or ''fortresses'' the moment they got pushback way too hard or saw a hot trend/easy dunk train of someone that lasted for a lengthy period, once the wave crashed, just ended up finding another target rather than going back to previous professions.
