I want Sonny to abuse his position of power as a policeman and kidnap me right from under everyone's noses. Goodness knows I belong in his basement, dead to the world except for him. His punching bag and his moral support, his worthless onahole and his beloved pet, until the end of my days.
Many years in the future we'll watch a true crime video together and it'll frame him as a good man, a virtuous man who tried his hardest to save a member of his community, but hit dead end after dead end; he'll start to blink back tears on the camera, call me a good woman and mourn that they couldn't even find the body, and it'll cut to a shot of my funeral. The real Sonny will laugh at the recording, shaking his head, and invite me to sit on the sofa beside him as an equal instead of at his feet like normal. He'll ask me if I ever want to return to normality. I'll say no, and I mean it.
But that's in the future. For now I'll cry as he lashes his belt at me again, flinching away from him, after he discovers that I've been trying to alert the neighbors to the situation. He'll tell me it's for my own good... And he'll mean it.
