It's actually because they're so busy that they'd want to spend what little free time they do have with the Ruffians, because they unironically NEED our affection to keep going and doing homework. But this project gets in the way of that. Call me a schizo but I imagine this is their thought process:
>make essential progress to not fall behind
>end stream quickly and start working on homework
>hopefully clear enough backlog to add extra streams to this week
>get their dose of ruffian attention and try spending more time on ENreco
You have to remember it was FWMC Morning, 2 homework days, BD, and about a week of time off after that, all the while homework builds up. They miss the ruffians and have said so (a few times since coming back), so that's their priority. At least for now anyway, 'till management (not mane-chan) gives them a talking to for not shilling plastic hard enough
