If you actually follow idol groups you’d see how insane the idols themselves are while still lacking skill. I love good singers and will support them, I’d like if they had a veil of purity around them as well.
But when you look at something like AKB, they’re so heavily associated with sex and lewdness only an idiot would think they’re “pure” but in addition to that there are constant scandals of bullying and prostitution within the groups but by the talents themselves and coercion by management/senpais
Idol groups are fucking garbage
I just want GOOD singers who act nice and pure without any of the baggage of “idol culture” which has been so heavily otakuized it’s ridiculous and a pain to deal with.
