It's not something specific to /africats/, the entire board has been affected. That doesn't mean all of those threads should be abandoned, it just means they should follow the example of threads like /koopa/ and /nina/ and only start threads when there's a stream people are watching (which happens to be the case with this thread right now) if they can't otherwise sustain themselves.
Also, constantly saying that everyone who didn't move to the Discords is a schizo isn't going to make it true. Some people just prefer anonymous discussion, or being able to talk about chuubas in a place where those chuubas aren't necessarily going to be present. I question how you ended up on 4chan in the first place if you failed to consider these things, seeing as anonymity and the greater sense of privacy are among the biggest appeals of this site.
