I don't want to turn this into a /v/ discussion but why did you SIMPs not tell her to play Metroid Fusion. Super Metroid is fine but it's outdated, like wasn't that created in 1994 or something. Metroid Fusion, Metroid Prime, or Symphony of the Night are much better gateway drugs into the Metroidvania genre. If she became a fan of the Metroidvania genre we could label her a true gamer instead of the fake, casual gamer that she is today. As far as I know she only plays those casual rhythm games and only plays real games when males are watching her. The Metroidvania genre is the most pure genre in my opinion. I can't consider someone a gamer if they aren't into it.
