On the topic of Gura, I don't think I can even use her lore in a way that would be enjoyable for me. If I go by her actual background, she is the last atlantian, unless I'm misremembering. That would bar me from doing a segment with a really cool underwater city that is busting with sea people life. I could just change it to be "lol lmao they aint all gone." but I try to stick with established things when I can. I could also just not use Gura at all in that capacity which is the easier route since I don't have even a moderate desire to write her.
