Early on threads were constantly active because there was enough activity from bea to talk about, she regularly tweeted or streamed so there were always things to discuss.
Then she halved her stream amount and left twitter at once rarely communicating in general. Thus there was no point having as many threads, all those threads were filled with off topic or forced drama from the absence of anything else to discuss.
The fact the off topic was moved to discord is a good thing, it never belonged here and people kept being pissed about it.
Most threads aren't dead because discord, they're dead because bea activity is barely a third of what it was early on.
Sometimes that complaint is from the schizos who used to use the threads to bait and troll all day long and are angry their toy got removed from them.
