Earlier there was a convo about how /cbdct/ is perceived on the other threads. I was very reluctant to mention this point because it's VERY minor and not really relevant, but I guess there are sometimes slight tinges of... misandry is too strong a word, but more like the difference between how anime boys vs. real guys are talked about was often quite interesting. I often see the inverse in cgdct discussions (with the caveat that the misogyny is palpable in some of the people who go there), so I suppose it's a natural result of contrasing the idealized fantasy of how someone/anons would want their preferred gender to be like vs. how they are actually like.
Obviously another big difference is that when it comes to men there are objectively a lot of things to complain about, but that goes outside the scope of the thread.
