On All Souls Day the children would go door to door asking if they had any dearly departed to pray for their souls. In return the homeowner would give them a soul cake. Im an awful baker so I wont even attempt to make them, no one would eat them anyway :( but you should make them! Maybe youll start a new Halloween tradition with your family.
