That money isn't so balanced either, when divided into JP/CN/GLOBAL, it's the CN side that donates the most. Checking right now, for Zenless Zone Zero, which is popular across the board, it takes the rest of the world combined to overcome chinese paypigs. There are exceptions, like horse gacha, but the point still stands.
I personally don't like it, but china does have a ton of potential paypigs, so it's understandable why holos would like a piece of that.
