They all know that the EN branch is all but officially dead. The home office has already announced to the world that they've stopped caring about the EN branch's future; they've told the investors that the EN branch does not factor into their medium- and long-term plans, and since they couldn't legally hide the revenue numbers, they instead camouflaged the revenue numbers by merging the bar graphs. This last point means that the branch merger has effectively already happened.
And if that one anon from a few days ago is right (picrel), then the branch's status will change next week from "effectively closed" to "officially closed," and a third of them will be leaving. And if my own guess about Niji management's pettiness and spite is correct, Elira will be forced to stop using her current Live2D model (and may also be forced to get a new model, paid for entirely out of her own pocket because of course) once Doki unveils her new skinsuit tonight, just to "punish" Kamame for giving Doki so much as the time of day. They have "punished" Kamame before, when they sent him Petra and Rosemi AR Live merch (see my next post)
