I think the rebrand was partially so new people wouldn't question whether she was a Japanese or English vtuber, (she hid all her old JP VODs). It was also because she learned about the kind of vtuber she wanted to be during her first year and a half as a Japanese vtuber. She started off with a more mature model and originally did a lot of ASMR content, but learned she wanted to be a cute vtuber that did more gaming content without being expected to do ASMR. She also had a very high amount of EN people already watching her for some reason at that time, but much of her history from that time is lost and only her oldest fans remember. I'm too new to know a lot of it. She didn't have the heart to delete her oldest covers after the rebrand so you can still hear how she sounded as a JP vtuber.
