>>71378047I had a similar epiphany when I saw some Twitter screenshot that was making the rounds in the catalog and on Global for a short while. I was in a shitty mood so I went to find the tweet not necessarily to bash him but just because I was curious what kind of response he got. It was a few days old by this point so I was skimming the guy's feed trying to find it and it turned out the dude was just a kid and also seemed mentally unwell (posting school shooter type shit), so by the time I found it I had just lost the stomach for it. I reported a few of his tweets for the trouble and gave it a rest. A few days later, his account got suspended. At that point I realized this stuff really, really isn't worth the time or effort. Mori knows this, too, and that's why she encourages everyone to just be positive louder instead, as an idol--and creator--should.
That said, I absolutely tore that Josh guy a new one when he went after FWMC because I used to work in art so I felt pretty strongly about the dumb shit he was saying. That idiot was completely out of his depth.
>>71380423The disappointing but ultimately just kinda boring reality is that I'm sure he's doing just fine. Guy's a talented producer and he already had a portfolio and industry contacts, which I'm sure is how UMG found him to begin with. It's still a pretty dipshit move to slander someone you've been hired to make a track for just because some randos tried to redpill you, but that never escalated beyond that so it fizzled out without much of a fuss. I don't care enough to check up on him but I'm sure he thinks of that time he got ratio'd by vtuber fans the same way we think of it--just some dumb shit that happened one time.
