I'll just post a concept dump here since I haven't talked about it too much on stream yet. The anon that said I was magical is right: My design is based on the kite (a falcon-like bird of prey). My lore is connected to the kite's connotations in Egyptian mythology, where it is seen as a messenger/servant of Isis (the goddess of healing and magic among other things). The kite is thus a symbol of reincarnation and living death. The kite also has this latter connotation in other cultures, perhaps due to its carrion lifestyle, notably in Japan. My last name is Isetsson, meaning "son of Iset", Iset being an alternative name for Isis. The lighthouse, in addition to its thematic suggestion as a place of sanctuary and hope, is an amalgation of inspirations; the great lighthouse of Alexandria in Egypt, lighthouses in literature such as Annihiliation by Vandermeer, and my own irl experience working in a lighthouse. "Torn" means tower in scandinavian, thus Tornkite = The kite of the tower.
