I think you may have gone too hard on the whole "sexy seductive confident hag" characterization for her, because I recall Pekora's mum had more genki-energy and seemed more innocent/naive based on the short amount of times she's appeared on stream. You did a good job with setting up her ploy though, and her playful side made sense. In the end I guess her characterization doesn't matter all too much considering she's partly an OC and we have virtually nothing to go on. This might be one of the best uses of a non-chuuba character I've seen in a story here.
Pekora was my favourite part of the chapter. The way she entered the scene, got embarassed and mad, all of it was great. When she said
>"Don't play dumb!"I immediately heard her voice saying "Tobokenna, teme!", which was funny. It was like she was actually in the story. The dialogue at the end when they're walking away was the delicious cherry on top. Her yukata outfit is also really great, I wish she would use it on stream more often.
