I want to say Nioh 2 is on part LoP, the problem is Nioh 2 outright demands you beat it more than once to get all the actually cool features to unlock. On the flipside, at least it actually gives a reason to do NG+ unlike proper souls games where there's no actual incentive for it. Pic related, my Dream of the Nioh character.

I'm all about that shit because when you finally synch everything up with set items (especially the sets on Way/Dream of the Nioh difficulty), you see the magic numbers happen and you're doing 10s of thousands of damage per hit.

tbf Nioh just requires minmaxing your strat rather than the strat being good. Pic related, I made a build around buffing and spamming Moonlit Snow Redux and beat every difficulty.
