That is not even mentioning his study of alchemy traditions in the development of his theories, which is natural philosophy. In general though, the motion to separate psychology from philosophy is arbitrary and limiting, especially for a field that brands itself the synthesis of all disciplines to uncover the fundamental unifying nature of reality and has involved people of all scientific disciplines from its earliest days.
