You're at least exercising your brain a little bit if you use your imagination as opposed to just watching footage of people having sex, and I personally find it much easier to self-insert into whatever scenario I'm imagining as opposed to porn. I also believe that the pornography industry is largely pretty unethical in the way its performers are treated and that nine times out of ten porn isn't a lifelike depiction of how sex actually goes down. That being said, I don't really have a problem with hentai even though I don't personally find it very interesting.
