That's true even for the ones in the bottom rungs, even with the pity boost for Aki Rose Mel ended up catching backup up to her because the people subscribing are doing it in the approx same rate of their interest and the exposure each streamers gets.
Even if you "shortcut" some of that exposure, you merely picked up some subs in advance of what the general interest in your activity would generate anyway.
Unless you're doing like Haachama and Marine and expanding the market to a completely different direction and bringing in people that would otherwise not be interested in what Hololive is outputting, your growth rate is more or less set in stone
