Let me instruct you subhumans on workouts
There are 2 types of workouts you can do:
-- Low reps, high intensity
-- High reps, low intensity
The former is what builds big muscles and power. It's also much more efficient type of workout you can get done in a couple of minutes. The problem is this workout completely SHREDS your muscle and you need to take several days off. You cannot do this workout every day, you'll just keep tearing your muscles apart and never gain any strength. The rest is just as important as the workout. You should only do these workouts like once every 3 days, although experienced weightlifters can do them once every 2 days.
The second type of workout would be like, laboring outdoors all day in the sun. You're taking frequent breaks, putting in a consistent effort over time without straining yourself. You CAN do this type of work every day. You're mostly building endurance and getting wiry strength. You won't be as big and inflated overall or have as much power, but you'll be stronger and more adept. This type of strength takes years to build, and long hours every day. Not really suitable for a workout routine, but if you work a laboring job you'll certainly gain this skill. Often the "strongest" guys at something don't have big inflated muscles.
That's why people who say they will do a pushup routine "every day" are so retarded. You're just SHREDDING your muscles every day with no time to recover. If you did very light knee-pushups or resistance band training you COULD do that every day, but you'll have to spend like an hour per day doing it if you want to see any results.
