AZKi and Watame in particular are household names in the music industry (as in the big leagues non-vTuber one) and have connections fucking everywhere there. Things like Porno Graffiti contacting Cover to ask if Watame would be interested in making a song with them doesn't come out of nowhere.
But yeah, I'm not saying they need a dozen songs that all pull 10m views within a month of release, that's ridiculous, but they do need to establish themselves as musicians, make connections, and build a reputation.
