As the thread kept going it became clear that it could survive without me replying to myself anymore. The people it attracted ended upp making it a de-facto vspo+friends thread anyway, so why not make it official? We eventually did have "vspo" on the title (this was when it wasn't just me making the OPs anymore, thanks), but the thread was still recognized as FPS/APEX thread outside our corner of /vt/.
I really do think we would have sidestepped 90% of the shitposting if there was a dedicated vsaikyou split and this thread didn't have the reputation of "FPS thread", but we kept that reputation when vsaikyou s4 rolled around and suffered the consequences of it.
If you were here before vsaikyou s4 nothing will change. Just the title. Vspo is still on the OP, the groups we care about are still on the OP, and if people look for them on /vt/ they'll find it, EOP or not. At this point I don't know why there's any reason to stick with the old title.
