Like, I'm not a teamate Gosling for the last few years at least but everything about that stuff yesterday was screaming "THIS IS WHAT SOMEONE WHO IS SELF-SABOTAGING WOULD DO" more than anything.
Like, does that make sense to anyone else? It screamed, "I am scared of having a big emotional send off so I'm gonna do everything in my power, subconsciously or not, to make it go as bad as low key and bad as possible, with no guests just to make sure they can't accidentally pull emotions I don't want to feel out of me."
It was kind of depressing. Like watching a recovering addict purposely try and break their support network down so that no one feels anything bad when she goes back off the wagon next time.
