Yes the atmosphere would most likely be vastly different from its current composition, but we still would have evolved with that change, and our cells would adapt to the new percentages. Now if we are talking using a time machine and traveling a million years into the future, then yes, you would suffocate immediately.
And also, that's why the search for habitable exoplanets isnt easy. The oxygen levels on it need to be within the 21% range(and that range is really tight btw) or we just couldnt breathe it without sustaining some damage to our cells. And if it's below that, we are looking at potentially tens of thousands of years of terraforming to raise it.
