>>57621539I only find it cringe when people talk about wanting to move there because they think their lives suck where they are currently and view Japan as this perfect haven where everyone will love them and everything will turn around. In Bae's case, it's both an infatuation with Japan and also her work, so it isn't as insane or weird to me, but I still feel like it probably isn't a good long term idea, unless she is absolutely confident that she'd be able to leverage her position to a successful solo career there when she eventually has to leave hololive, but she probably has a good few more years before that's really a concern.
