Yes, you may follow her roommate and still keep the personality you like around (if she even wants to continue streaming), but you will lose the character that lived alongside that personality, which for some is a lot of the appeal. That might be the reason she stopped interacting with Norio, since it was under a different character. They may be friends irl, but it's still not the same, and they, understandably, don't want to mix that kind of stuff.
This is why some things feel different, even if you realize is the same person behind this. The character is very important, since it is the first thing that draws you in, but is the personality that mainly keeps you around.
I believe that looking at other threads superficially, such as the Rushia thread? I don't even know how to call it, really that it could be the future for us, for better or worse. Hell, realistically we could change from /pol/ka to include some Nobuhime discussion, since it seems like it is allowed in this board given the precedents that are still around, but I don't think there are many people from that time here.
I wonder what would happen when eventually she graduates for this thread, how many people will leave, how many will support her new persona see what I did there and how many will still post about Polka even when she's gone.Guess time will tell.
In the meanwhile, keep having fun. Things are looking up. She is finally reaching a milestone she's been chasing for a long time now. We are in the middle of something great, probably.
