>>44302253So far I would say so. There's definitely a lot of small additional stuff that enhances the experience. Feels more immersive, noticing a lot of subtle but good redesigns for early areas, some minor mechanical enhancements and with additional hidden areas to get loot. The gameplay actually really feels like HL1 rather than HL2. I know Xen is completely redesigned, and Valve always regretted that it shipped in the State it was in. If you can't get into HL1 or the two Expansion Packs which are also pretty great, I'd recommend Black Mesa based on my experience so far.
