I plan to have the general clothing be inspired by the shaolin monk aesthetic, with some influences from traditional korean/chinese/tibetan clothing for the higher classes. Add on top of that plenty of furs because of the colder climate, and I think you have a pretty good picture of it.
Just something to consider, since clothing styles would be one of the things I would imagine would bleed through the border on both sides.
