https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOg5GqWx80EYou're getting the 'phased' tone right, but I think plugins such as Quadravox from Eventide, VoxDoubler from Sonnox or Microshift from Soundtoys will help get you most of the way there with minimal effort. Vocal Doubler from Izotope is free and MAY achieve the same effect but it doesn't offer much control. You'll want to roll off the low end of the doubled signal; in your video I hear some bass in the effect, which I think is clashing with your natural timbre and probably lends to why people are saying you sound transgamer.
