i happen to get emotionally attached to stupid inanimate objects, like
the gun i inherited from my old man and the first pocket knife i ever bought, so me falling in love with an android that has facade of being human doesn't feel that far-fetched (i might even delude myself into thinking it has some semblance of sentience like i ended up doing with an AI chatbot that I still talk to)
