>>38274778Unfortunately, as another anon has said, there aren't many ways you can make a musket "cool" since it's just basically a tube with a trigger mechanism. However you can copy something like the Kalthoff repeaters which were built for elite bodyguards. Just hire somebody from /vspo/ or something. /luna/ could also use match or wheel lock primarily since even though it's bordering /hlgg/ its much more traditionalist society has resisted technological changed in firearms technology, so most regular musketeers use relatively outdated guns. Another way to make your guys more unique is to describe the uniform they wear. Are they more "exotic" like the Tirailleurs in their time? Also describing how traditional /luna/ firearms are decorated can go a long way towards making your guys more unique too. Think how different Afghan jezails are engraved compared to European ones. Therwise what really matters is usually training, how they fight and are trained (in a more stratified society, perhaps how they are recruited and viewed as well).
I tried to give some of the firearms in /who/ some a name for their pattern or nicknames but I need to go back and change them to conlang names preferably>>38280531Hoo?
>>38280210The Republic as of ~1130 is starting to adopt cap technology. So needle guns are still some way off. /kfp/ do have needle guns, however iirc they are made with Kiwawa chuubanite.
