The fan census is only about 2% off of the one in the financial report, which is a fairly acceptable margin of error. The age demographic tells a similar story between the two documents.
We can extrapolate this to presume that most of the broad strokes data in the fan census is accurate, as well, which I think is a big credit to the person that ran the census.
