The Dr.K stream was proof enough she's already wanted to have some kind of relationship with someone but fears being a burden, and the person she's currently talking to has said they're perfectly alright with all of her issues and treats her totally normal, basically everything she said described connor to a T. Because she's described connor the exact same way on stream several times. It's more likely they already have something going on but they'll never talk about it publicly cause they don't want it to become a big thing. They want at least some measure of privacy. When it's like this, people will always be able to believe "well maybe they're not dating, maybe they ARE just super super duper best friends" despite it being obvious, because it at least leaves them a little wiggle room to work with because they've never made it official.
