Nobody gives a shit about lore in regards to vtubing. I love lore in my video games, my table top games, my sci fi and fantasy series but I don't love lore in vtubing because lore doesn't matter. Nobody cares that Irys is a Nephilim. If Kronii dropped the whole 'warden of Time' schtick no one would miss it. Lore can be great in the right medium, and Omega is wrong for trying to force his lore into Hololive.
