This whole thing was a giant shit test by Coco to see if Mori is really serious and worthy of her status as the face of HoloEn since Gura clearly doesn't want it. She failed spectacularly. I don't think it was meant to be malicious, though. I mean, she did give Mori every opportunity to play along and riff of of her, but Mori just wasn't having it.
