Everything lines up perfectly, and it explains a lot of the odd behavior we've seen from Cover, including their hands off approach to moderation, not inviting Coco to the new years event, preventing her from interacting with EN, etc. If they don't have a strong response to this, I'm done with Hololive for good.
My predictions: Hololive starts moving into China again, including Bilibili after people forget about Coco. Even if the above condition is met, this will turn me into a full Cover anti.
