>long anwser incomingMost streamers see the alt content mostly as content that otherwise on the main, they would feel bad that if like for example, they wait all week for a stream and they get fucking Elden Ring for hours, sure there's some that will stick around, but not a lot of retention. They also don't have to worry for hours of not saying a thing. There are literally a lot of reasons why it makes sense from a streamer standpoint, for the viewers, is usually splitting the content. Most fans will probably sit even for like Elden Ring, and if it becomes alt content, they most likely miss it.
Another example is the whole bf (and Mouse's best friend) streams called "alt streams", as seen by the girls way of acting, they don't have to worry about the stream and they just chill in their fat asses. I mean, look at Mouse being more relaxed, back when she had troubles of VTubeStudio failing, she literally got a migraine because it was failing, and with Connor she can easily take it over like it was nothing. It's all legit streamer autism, so don't try to really search for the logic out of it.
