They can use their spare time however they would like and have the opportunity to improve.
If you work then you have no spare time. Or what little spare time you do have will be used for sleeping or lounging around because work is so exhausting.
You'll also constantly be functioning on an average of 4 hours of sleep. This means you will be actively dumber throughout the week.
