This causes it to produce insulin to help break that shit down, but it CAN'T because it's not actually sugar. This causes your body to have a bunch of insulin in your body telling your body "hey hurry and eat something retard" causing hunger pangs.
It doesn't inhibit weight loss but it does make it harder by doing this, and ironically if you're trying to lose weight it's still a better alternative to normal soda if you stick to a diet plan. Just be careful with it.
