https://twitchlink.github.io/ just download the vod and use the "udpate track" option (see screenshot) and it should download the past broadcast of the vod and the vod and merge it into one vod. Also twitch recover sometimes fails to recover m3u8 links while vod recovery can do the job so using both is advisable:
