>>78189941said, focus on upgrading your weapon and vigor. If you need a hint on where to find upgrade materials for your weapons, any time you have the map, look for stuff like PicRel. Look for fiery circles that are usually entrances to Mines filled with upgrade materials.
Post Liurnia averages like 50-70 before Leyndell which is usually in the 80-90 range. Items are basically optional but learning how to use them and the crafting system is handy. You don't need any of it though, enough raw skill and you can beat anything at level 1, but even people who do that spend hours on practice runs to learn bosses (even the best one, OngBal). Also my offer remains up if anyone wants to co-op, I just wanna help people, but a part of me wants to invade in Mogwhyn Palace to stop people from accessing the DLC.
