People will filter down hierarchies until they find one they can comfortably climb near the top of, to obtain a sense of belonging and importance. And for these "people", the hierarchy they filter down to is 4chan general. There is nothing we can really do about it other than live with it and ignore them, because they aren't doing anything better with themselves anytime soon.
