Fortunately, Pomu is dropping to part-time after her operation, which is smart. However, her eventually quitting her job means that she will lose out on other benefits such as a 401k. Her employer will no longer match her contribution if she drops below full-time, most likely. But then I remembered she mentioned she works as "an OL" but for a small insurance company, meaning that a small business likely doesn't provide these added benefits. It doesn't seem like Pomu has investments in other areas, and to put the final nail in the coffin, she alluded to renting where she lives in her recent stream.
I think we're in for a wild ride and I'm strapped in for the long (hopefully not short) haul.
