Today it was just labbing. This is my first time going into a character without guides already out so its pretty exciting to discover new things by yourself.
Spending some time practicing a combination just to find something better later, and with the knowledge better stuff still will be found out by someone else might feel Sisyphean but its actually pretty fun and it really helps you understand why frame data is actually important.
One thing however is that I have yet to fight my first real fight with him. Unlike last time, I don't want to develop weird habits that will be hard to correct later like last time with Juri when I was just mashing the autocombo for so long I never quite was able to stop myself from doing it even after I learned real ones. WT Akuma points out battles without the fear of death leads to being carelessness, and if you make carelessness a habit when the real thing comes on you will die, which is why he no longer joins tournaments.
This time I will embrace the Satsui no Hado, and consider every match I have to be a battle to the death.
