A lot of jap corp shit is fucking wacky. The Fax machines, needing perms for every little thing, sexual harassment, in-person-only positions that could allow for better candidates if they were remote, etc.
However western politic-policies, work ethic, and lack of loyalty are all poison.
They could definitely innovate, and they'd stand to gain a lot if they moved their offices from JP to America in terms of legal flexibility. But I would hope that they would bring a lot of JP staff and their work ethic with them.
