Her initial 100k audience were mostly comprised of old Nijifans (Mito-Deron era, who got filtered by ACCELERATE) and completely new fans who didn't even know about VTubers.
See pic related, Japan in general knows about chuubas (thanks to Kizuna Ai) but Hololive is still quite far behind in general population name recognition - which explains all the collaborations that they're doing, to increase that recognition.
Considering that Salome watchers were getting fed Hololive clips and their first encounter with Nijisanji fans was one of their livers insulting Salome and Salomates and siccing his fanbase on them... combined with her dropping off after the meme RE7 playthrough and no longer doing 1 hour streams at midnight... I can see why they would have gravitated towards Hololive instead.
