The suddenness of this along with the timing right around the 4 year anniversary makes me think its simply a contractual issue, they were not able to negotiate a new contract but neither side wanted to burn bridges so they simply put everything on pause. This means there is a very slim chance she could return but most likely they will simply announce her graduation at a later time.
