Admittedly, I've fallen off of watching Gura this year and didn't watch her a lot in the beginning either, but I don't know if that's something she's ever discussed, nor do I understand why you're so convinced that Mori can't when I don't think we've ever seen her in a position where it would even be relevant or make itself apparent, ie, her warming up (as in, actual vocal warmups) or rehearsing. Both Gura and Mori have made pitch errors when they sing.
