>>90243724I think what she meant is not so much "it's low-detail" but rather "they didn't pay enough attention when replicating the details." Niji, perhaps moreso than other companies, has always striven for 3D models that look as close to their 2D design as they can. Feesh's model especially is an example of that, and Elira's good too.
Now, look at Pomu's versus her Live2D and you can easily see the discrepancies. Lines are all pixel-thin, if they're even there, whereas Ichiso-mama went way harder on them. Lighting makes some colors look washed: shadows, when not entirely absent (see e.g. her arms/armpits, or her hairband casting no shadow), are much lighter than they should be, and her skintone doesn't match, among other things. A knock-on effect is that the pearls that hang from her hairclips have barely any volume, and the butterfly brooch looks like it's made of plastic. Some parts are actually off-model, like the black flowers on the sleeves that are like half the size they're supposed to be, or the choker that almost became a necklace, or her face that's definitely narrower (look at the locks of hair that support the hairclips -- on the Live2D they both rest in front of her face, in the 3D model they frame it, and that can't happen with just a weird angle). And there's probably more to it than this if you look at the full model.
And yeah, I know that these might sound like nitpicks, but when you see your wavemates have pretty much none of these issues, and when you've been looking at your own self for 2+ years, these start to look more and more important, especially for a model that's your "official" 3D rendering and not just a secondary chibi or whatever.
